What is a whale sub?

In old school findom, a whale sub, or whalesub, is a finsub who sends huge amounts of money. Ask a whale for $100, and they won’t even blink. Do a drain on a whale, and you could come away with thousands of dollars. These guys are rich, or have a trust fund. They throw money around like they have it to burn.

Sadly, whales are few and far between, and now mostly just the thing of myths and legends.

You will often see subs who call themselves whale subs, but they’re mostly full of it and just looking for attention. No whale sub would ever call themselves a whale, or use that term in their bio or user name.

You may also see new dommes claiming to have “caught their whale”, but then see the total amount they’ve been sent is a hundred dollars. That’s not really a whale, but give a girl her win. In the beginning, getting a $100 send does feel like landing a whale. In reality, that’s just a sub who has a decent job.
