Using apps to monitor subs
Since we’re 21st century findommes, using apps is sort of a given. We all use various apps and sites to make our online presence easier to find, pay, and to facilitate engagement with subs.
Why not use apps as a means of monitoring our subs once we’ve made them ours? Here are a few apps you might use:
Obedience is an app developed specifically for the BDSM community. Think of it as a habit tracker with a reward/punishment feature. You can set goals for your subs, add recurring and one time goals, and give points for achieving them. The main plus is that it is designed to be D/s friendly, so whatever you’re doing won’t get flagged by the app.
Shared habit trackers like HabitShare and SnapHabit allow subs to set up their goals and share them with you. Any discussion of rewards and punishments should happen off the app, since they are not SW friendly.
Life360 allows you to track a sub’s location and their driving habits. Paid subscriptions offer more in depth tracking and extra features. Be careful not to share your location with your subs!
Parental control apps that offer good free plans, like Qustodio, Mobicip and Kaspersky Safe Kids, allow you to limit screen time, and control which apps your sub can access.
There are also apps you can use to take over your sub’s screens completely, but I’m not completely comfortable with that practice, so I’ll leave that to your own research.
