Interview with Mistress Zynn 2DFD
This is the first of what I hope will be a series of interviews with working findommes. I’m using myself as an example, to show how the interviews will look
How long have you been a findomme?
Off and on since 2019, and since August 2023 as Mistress Zynn. In January 2024, I became a 2D findomme.
What's your current initial tribute, if you have one?
$30 USD.
How would you describe your domme style or persona?
I tell myself that I'm a hard domme and humiliatrix, but I'm also ethical, and take good care of my subs. I always want them to be OK. I also love to laugh and tease. Hard domme that's soft inside, sprinkled with laughter? I sound like a donut...
How did you find out about findom, and what made you decide to be a findomme?
I was doing underwear and sock sales on an adult site, and one of the girls there mentioned findom. I love falling down an internet rabbit hole, so I started reading, and realized findom might be a place I'd fit in. I am naturally dominant in my vanilla life. I'm the one who tells everyone else what to do. Why not put those skills to good use?
What do you think is the best thing about being a findomme?
For me, the best thing isn't the money or the subs. It's the community dommes build. I was lucky enough to fall into two really good engagement groups, where there's little drama, and always someone awake to answer questions or vent to. I love how supportive dommes are. I wasn't expecting that when I started.
What's the absolute worst thing about being a findomme?
Men who, if they even bother to read my profile, still assume I want to send them free nudes, or will bend over backward to do whatever they want. Dude, have you met me?
Do friends and family know you're a domme, or do you keep it secret?
I don't think anyone knows, but only because I haven't brought it up. It's not something I hide or am ashamed of, I just like keeping my vanilla life and domme life separate. It wouldn't be a big deal if someone found out. Most of my friends probably wouldn't be surprised about anything I do, to be honest.
Best site for finding subs right now?
I like Reddit. It's quieter than Twitter, and I have more social interaction there because I answer questions in addition to promotional posts.
What does your ideal D/s relationship look like?
He's respectful, addresses me as Mistress, shows up for appointments, and can hold up his end of a conversation. I like to chat, and nothing puts me off a sub more than lack of writing ability. I need someone who can put two words together. He sets clear boundaries and limits, and respects mine. We communicate honestly before and after sessions. Yeah, I want the moon.
What do you do to decompress?
I have two dogs and no backyard, so I have a built in back to reality every couple of hours. They usually rotate sitting snuggled up against me while I work. I like to cook and bake, which is good, because I'm vegan, living where vegan food doesn't really exist at local restaurants. I love to binge watch any crime-related series. And I write pretty much every day.
What's your advice to someone who is just starting out as a domme?
Be patient. There's a lot to learn, and you should take the time to learn it. Do your research. Don't expect to get rich overnight, or even in your first year. Never let anyone push you into doing anything that you don't feel comfortable doing. Watch and learn from other dommes, but don't copy them. Always put your own spin and personality into what you do. Be a real person, not a caricature of a domme.
