How long does it take to find a sub?
If you’re new to findom, and anxious to find your first finsub, good for you! Getting your first sub may take some time, but is well worth the wait.
And yes, there will be a wait. Often, a long wait. Finding that first sub may take a new domme three to six months or more, especially if you’re a niche domme. If you’re mature, a BBW, an ebony domme, a faceless domme, a 2DFD, or anything other than young, fit, white, and pretty, it may take you longer.
Sadly, in the last year or so, there’s been a rash of bad information about findom circulating on social media. If you’ve heard that being a domme is a quick and easy way to earn money, that was a lie. It’s very rare to get a send on your first day, or in your first week, or even your first month. A lot of dommes go through some trial and error before they find their niche, and learn how and where to find subs that are interested.
Waiting is the hardest part
Waiting sucks, right? Don’t let that time weigh on you, or feel as though you’re a failure. Everyone goes through slow periods. Every domme has experienced watching others post big sends while going through a dry spell. Don’t let this get you down.
Don’t let slow time go to waste. Keep doing research. Test drive new platforms, and see if they work for you. Post every day on your main socials. If you’re a content seller, build up your photo and video offerings. Always be looking for things that can offer you that passive income.
Basically, find something to keep you busy, instead of getting caught in the downward spiral of not posting because nobody’s responding, posting less and less, until no sub will ever find you, because your accounts have lost their pulse.
Be active. Be visible. Stay busy. Your subs will come eventually.
