Online wishlists are a wonderful idea. You drop the items on the list, share it with anyone who might want to gift you something, and boxes arrive in the mail. What’s not to like?
Most of you probably immediately thought of your Amazon wishlist. Are you thinking you can just share that with prospective subs? Don’t do it. Here’s why:
Subs can mark Amazon wishlist items as purchased without buying them. A common scam is to do this, and then request custom content or sessions before you catch on that there’s no box on the way.
They can also place an order, call Amazon and claim fraud, and ask for the address where the package is being sent in the process. They get your address, and cancel the order. Now someone with bad intentions knows where you live.
Sex worker friendly wishlists
Instead of linking to your Amazon wishlist, use a wishlist service that accepts payments from your admirers, and sends you the goods or cash equivalent, without divulging to anyone but you where they’re going.
I use YouPay, but Wishlistpage is also good, and both offer multiple ways for your admirers to pay you, and for you to receive your cash or items.
There’s also Throne, which randomly started kicking findommes off their service without notice, to satisfy Stripe, their old payment processor. They’ve moved to MassPay for processing, but honestly, I’d go with one of the other services before going with them. Tributify also uses Stripe, so beware.
