Before you start setting up your new email and social media accounts, you’ll need a few photos. Now is a good time to start thinking about what type of persona you want to create. And with that comes a few more decisions.
Showing face, faceless, or 2DFD
Put some thought into whether you want to be a faceless domme, who never shows her whole face. Being faceless does offer an additional layer of protection if you’re worried about the folks in your vanilla life finding out you’re a sex worker, but having worked faceless, it does present some challenges.
Men are visual beings, and want to look at you, so you’ll constantly be asked to show your face. There are also quite a few men who will only worship dommes who show face.
You’ll also have challenges as a faceless domme when taking photos for content. However, there are quite a few faceless dommes out there who are successful. If you go this route, find some on socials and follow them to see how they make it work.
Dommes who choose to show their faces can still obscure their identities with filters. When I made the transition from faceless to showing face, I felt very exposed, so I shot my photos on TikTok, and made liberal use of their appearance filters for a month or so until I was more comfortable.
I also know several dommes who wear masks. One wears a ski mask, which only leaves her eyes visible. One wears a black theatrical mask over the top of her face, leaving the lower half visible. Use your creativity if you go this route.
There is a third option: you can be a 2DFD or AI domme. This requires some graphics skills, and some comfort using a variety of image generation, video generation, and image editing tools. I switched to being a 2DFD several years ago. More about this way of working can be found in What is a 2DFD?
Nudity
Does a findomme have to do full or partial nudity? Absolutely not. You will find dommes approach this in a variety of ways, from “you’re not worthy to see my bare skin”, to pixelating photos as sort of a tease, to “here’s my bare ass in a thong for you to worship”. You decide what you want to show, and where, and how.
Even as a 2DFD, I don’t show much skin on my socials. I do have a few tame nude photosets for sale on my LoyalFans. Even my AI persona has boundaries!
You can change your mind
Since you’re the boss domme in charge, you can change your mind about how you present yourself visually. You can be no face and no nudity brat this month, and a bare it all temptress next month. I also know dommes who have deleted all their face pics from their socials, to go faceless. Nothing is written in stone, so start wherever your comfortable today.
Makeup and wardrobe
If you’re a makeup kinda girl, this is your chance to have some fun. What kind of makeup look does your domme have? This is where you can try things you’d never do in your vanilla life.
Same deal for clothing. Does your domme always show maximum cleavage, or does she cover it all? Does she show pics in lacy undies, or leather? Is she a hippie chick? A bratty cheerleader? Open up your closet, dig around in what you have, and put together a look your domme would wear. Don’t go out and spend on a new wardrobe just yet, because you want subs to fund that later.
Back to those pics…
OK, you’ve given some thought to your domme personna, and what you’ll initially be showing. Time to take some pics.
Good news: your phone can be your camera. You don’t need a lot of fancy equipment.
Most dommes do have a light source that allows them to shoot in the evening. I use natural light whenever I can, but I also have a ring light for shooting later in the day.
The pics you’ll need for setup: a decent profile photo, and half a dozen shots of you for your first social media posts. Offer some variety: standing, sitting, laying on your bed. Feet, if you want to offer foot worship. Your backside, covered or not, for the ass worshipers. Look at the types of shots other dommes are posting as your inspiration—-but don’t copy anyone else. Be yourself, always. Never feel pressured to look or act the way other dommes do.
Got those first pics? You’re ready for the next step.
